Renaissance is an international photography competition where all funds raised go to support breast cancer, and which culminates in a one week exhibition and celebrity private view at the prestigious Mall Galleries, London.

The Renaissance competition raises cash for a great charity.  It gives the chance for any photographer to enter and to put their work under the gaze of the assembled luminaries who judge the competition.

  • Mary McCartney - portrait and fashion photographer
  • Brett Rogers - director of The Photographers' Gallery
  • Michael Hoppen - photographer and owner of Michael Hoppen Gallery, London
  • Brigitte Lardinois - senior research fellow at LCC and editor of Magnum Magnum

  • Environment - Expression - Memory - Perspective - Disorientation

  • Renaissance prize - £3,000 awarded to overall winner
  • Calumet prize for best film entry - Nikon F6 camera worth £2,000
  • Five category prizes - £500 best in category
  • Twenty highly commended
  • Exhibition - 100 finalists will be given a one week exhibition in Central London and be able to sell their work

It's all for a worthwhile charitable cause. All the funds raised by the competition and exhibition will go to support younger people with breast cancer.
