The series competition has an open category.
All projects are eligible regardless of subject or theme, providing the photographs entered are related and part of the same body of work.
Single Image Competition
The following single image categories are available in the Renaissance Photography Prize 2015.
Approach themes in any way that makes sense to you because everything is open to interpretation. But, if you're stuck for inspiration, you could consider literal and conceptual possibilities like these.
Journey
( /ˈdʒəːni/)
- an act of travelling from one place to another, a trip
- a long and often difficult process of personal change and development
- passage or progress from one stage to another
- a distance, course, or area traveled or suitable for traveling
Human
(/ˈhjuːmən/)
- a human being
- relating to or characteristic of humankind, "the human body", "the human race"
- of or characteristic of people as opposed to God or animals or machines, especially in being susceptible to weaknesses; "only human", "human error"
- showing the better qualities of humankind, such as kindness
Line
(/lʌɪn/)
- a long, narrow mark or band, a direct course
- (mathematics) a straight or curved continuous extent of length without breadth
- (mapping) a curve connecting all points having a specified common property
- a furrow or wrinkle in the skin, especially on the face
- a contour or outline considered as a feature of design or composition
- a line marking the starting or finishing point, "the goal line", or a notional limit or boundary
