Sebah Chaudhry

Festival Coordinator at FORMAT

Sebah Chaudhry is Festival Coordinator at FORMAT. She is a key member in the delivery of the biennale festival and other FORMAT projects in the UK and internationally. She also works on numerous international festivals, Sebah has recently worked with Fotofestiwal Łódz and Fotobookfestival Kassel utilising her extensive experience as a Portfolio Review/Events Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of these key events as well as reviewing portfolios herself. Sebah has previously worked with Rhubarb-Rhubarb, Birmingham; Dong Gang, South Korea; Hamburg Photo Triennial; Fotobild, Berlin; and Fotofest, Houston.

Seb is keen to see photographers who are interested in discussing ideas and she is open to see work at any stage of project development. She’s interested in reviewing anything from documentary, photo-journalism, archive, photo/cross artform installation and contemporary/narrative photography, including film and performance.  She is less interested in reviewing travel, advertising, nude or stock photography unless they fit into the above. 

During the review Seb can offer critique on creative practice and advice on strategies for the promotion of work and conceptual project development ideas for exhibition in gallery or public space.
